Concerns of the Future of UK Plastics Industry

After the country voted in favor of a split from the European Union last week, there has been deep uncertainty about the future of the plastics industry in this country.

With the majority of the plastics industry in the UK voting against leaving the EU, the result has come as a big shock to the industry and have created a lot of concern about the effect it is going to have to the access plastic companies are going to have to the European market and the effect it is going to have on UK plastics machinery sales.

German machinery producers are already experiencing changes to sales in the UK following the break away which is a worry as the United Kingdom is the seventh largest company for exports of plastics and rubber machinery in Germany.

The British Plastics Industry have vowed to help members make sense of the changes and do all it can to help everyone move forward.
