Interplas Plastics Exhibition Conference 2023

Interplas is the UK and Ireland’s definitive plastics exhibition and conference and will be returning next year, after their successful show in 2021. They have built a platform for the UK plastics community over a 75-year history to connect and create business opportunities.

The show is known for hosting new machinery, new product launches, breaking news announcements, and exclusive demonstrations. The event attracts over 12,000 attendees annually who gather to do business, network and discover the latest innovation within the industry.

The next event will take place in September 2023 and will create multiple business opportunities for plastic communities across the UK. Key buyers from the world’s largest companies across sectors come to this event in search of new suppliers, technology, and knowledge. Interplas holds live demonstrations of new products and services from companies throughout the sector.

This year Interplas has released a brand-new online Event Hub, where you can send meeting invitations to new prospects and talk ahead of the event. You can also create a unique diary of conference sessions and meetings and discover products and suppliers before the event.

Interplas 2023 will have a range of zones and features, including:

  • A new custom-built conference theatre – this theatre will be used to discuss key topics, issues, challenges, innovations, and perspectives from across the plastics sector. (This is a whole new feature exclusive to Interplas 2023).
  • A recycling zone – this area will feature suppliers of recycling machinery such as granulators, shredders, compactors, conveyors, washing and drying equipment, as well as compounders and distributors of recycled plastic materials.
  • A contract manufacturing zone – this area will reflect the increased demand for products across the UK from brands looking to reshore production from overseas and showcase the competitiveness and capability of UK trade moulders and contract manufacturers.
  • A medical plastics zone – this zone will focus on the essential aspects of medical device manufacturing that are unique to the sector.
  • A plastikcity pavilion – this area will showcase high-quality suppliers that may not normally exhibit.

While we don’t currently have plans to attend this 2023 show, we’re going to be watching the news and new technology that is showcased and will be keeping on top of anything interesting that comes up.
