UK Manufacturing Industry Going From Strength To Strength

It has been a record year here at Rayda Plastic. There has been growth in the Building and Utilities industries creating a greater demand for products that have been manufactured through the process of plastic extrusion. This growth isn’t just evident at Rayda, it seems that UK manufacturing is going from strength to strength at the moment.

The Office For National Statistics states that “Total production output for July 2017 compared with July 2016 increased by 0.4%, with manufacturing providing the largest upward contribution.”

Although we do not export any of our goods directly out of the UK we have noticed that a large proportion of our customers are doing so which in turn is also supporting the UK Manufacturing industry. EEF has also spotted a upward trend claiming that “Britain’s manufacturers are enjoying buoyant conditions on the back of export markets going from strength to strength” and predictions suggest that in 2018 we can see a further increase of 0.5% for manufacturing.

We are confident that 2018 is going to be as successful at Rayda and we look forward to continuing to work with existing and new customers. Watch this space, you could soon be seeing one of our very own products used in one of the UK’s biggest transport companies
