What is UPVC?

When a plasticiser is added into the production of plastic the plastic will become more flexible and softer. However in some cases this increased fluidity within the plastic is not required and therefore the need to add plasticisers is removed. Plastic that has not had a plasticiser added is termed UPVC (Un- plasticised polyvinyl chloride).
